After Sandy Update:

The storm hit the boardwalk very hard. We are not expecting to be able to reopen for a couple of weeks. Please check out our facebook page for more up to date information.

Langosta and most of the businesses on the boardwalk were hit with a lot of water damage. The power had to be pulled out of all the buildings and has been replaced. With the need to do some work to reopen we have rethought some of the infrastructure of our restaurants there to make them even better than before.

Presently-

We have gone Couch Surfing at our Dauphin Grille in the Berkeley Hotel while we work on opening Labrador Lounge in Normandy Beach and Langosta Lounge, Lightly Salted, our new Asbury Park Yacht Club and Pop’s Garage AP on the Boardwalk in Asbury Park.

When are you re-opening Langosta Lounge?

Well, that’s the most asked question I get. My answer these days is April Fool’s Day. If we get open earlier, Great! If not by the 1st, well, April Fools! Hehehe

We are moving along and have many surprises in store for you…and for us. The best things are the things you probably would never know about. When we first opened some of the infrastructure wasn’t thought out completely and now we are busy correcting our kitchen layout and our electric which has always been a nightmare.

Come April Fool’s, or close to it, we’ll all be seeing a new Langosta Lounge 2.0

Meanwhile, over at Dauphin Grille and The Berkeley Bar we some fun events this month. Check out our events page on any of our websites. Our Live at The Berkeley music is really taking off.

We have a Wine Tasting of classic and unusual pairings for three dishes. Mardi Gras comes to town on Fat Tuesday on the 12th with music and Trinity and the Pope specials and cocktails. And then there’s that day of Love on the 14th with a four course menu and the option to have a StayCation at the hotel.
